BrainVita game -

This game lets you play BrainVita.

Rules :-

1. There are a set of marbles placed on the board with only the centre portion left vacant. All you have to do is move one marble over

the other either horizontally or vertically (diagonal moves are not allowed). As soon as you do this, the marble over which you took

the other marble disappears.

2. Continue moving one marble over the till you have no other option.

                    ONE marble on the board - You are a genius
                    TWO marbles on the board - You are intelligent
                    THREE marbles on the board - You are average
                    FOUR or MORE marbles on the board - You need to practice

Key Features:-

1. It can show the possible moves.

2. It can display last move.

3. You can change the board color.

Bolly Snakes and Ladders Screen Saver -

How to install?

Unzip the content of the zipped file (BollySnakesandLaddersSS.zip) to windows' directory (eg c:\windows). Windows directory should have :
1. BollySnakes&LaddersScreenSaver.scr
2. Folder "sound" with sound files within it.
3. Readme.txt (This can be deleted).

How to Run?

Right click on the desktop and select "BollySnakes&LaddersScreenSaver" as the screen saver from screen saver tab.

Click "OK" to set it. Change the different settings using the settings option.

Key features :-

1. Option to change the board pattern.
2. Change background color.
3. Enable/disable sound.
4. Change game type and other game options.
5. Allows you to cheat:
a. You can make the player win the way you want.
b. Change "Created by String" and assign it anything (eg your name).

Sudoku Solver -

This game gave me the highest level of challenge to create. Key features:-

1. Helps you solve Sudoku with ease.

2. You can save/load the sudoku.

Sudoku doesn't require any special math skills or calculations. It is a simple and fun game of logic -- all that's needed is brains and

concentration.

There is really only one rule to Sudoku: Fill in the game board so that the numbers 1 through 9 occur exactly once in each row, column,

and 3x3 box. The numbers can appear in any order and diagonals are not considered. Your initial game board will consist of several

numbers that are already placed. Those numbers cannot be changed. Your goal is to fill in the empty squares following the simple rule

above.

Kaun Banega Crorepati -

Introduction

The Kaun Banega Crorepati game is created using Visual Basic 6.0.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is a simple game show. You answer a series of questions that could get you as much as Rs 1 crore. Our 3 Lifelines help you along the way

1.      The questions are generated by random choice.

2.      You choose 1 answer from 4 alternatives.

3.      Each correct answer gets you a specific sum of money. The value of each subsequent question increases up to a maximum of Rs 1 crore on the 15th question. Click here for the break up.

4.      You are free to leave the game without answering the question asked. You retain the sum won so far.

5.      An incorrect answer terminates the game. Your winnings fall to the last guarantee point (either Rs. 3,20,000 Rs. 10,000 or 0).

Eg: A contestant failing on Q15 will only win Rs 3,20,000. One failing on Q10 will get only Rs. 10,000. A contestant answering incorrectly before reaching the first guarantee point (Rs. 10,000) will win nothing.

The Lifelines

You will get 3 lifelines during the show.

Lifeline 1 - 50:50. 2 answers are eliminated leaving 1 correct and incorrect answer.

Lifeline 2 - Audience Poll. Each member of the audience gets a keypad with the letters A, B, C, D on it. This corresponds to the 4 answers to your question. When requested, all members of the audience indicate their choice for correct answer within 10 seconds. The results are calculated as a percentage of the audience vote.

Lifeline 3 - Phone-a Friend You are allowed to talk on the telephone to 1 out of 3 pre-arranged friends or relatives and ask their advice on the correct answer. The phone friends do not know the question in advance. They get only 30 seconds to answer you. This includes the time for the relay of the question.

System Requirement

            Minimum Requirements:

                        Pentium with 32 MB RAM, Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP, VB runtimes.

            Recommended Requirements:

                        Pentium with 128 MB RAM, Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP, VB runtimes.

            Resolutions supported

            800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024 (These resolutions have been tested; other resolutions may also work fine).

Installation

Step 1: Unzip the zipped file �Kaun Banega Crorepati.zip�.

This will create 5 files.

            1.         KBC.exe

            2.         imp.kbc

            3.         default.kbc

            4.         config.txt

            5.         ReadMe.doc

Starting the Game

Run the file KBC.exe to start the game.

Note: The file imp.kbc must be present in the application install directory.

Key Features

The game is similar to the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

Three game modes present :- a) Blinking, b) KBC Like, c) Fast

More than 600 questions present.

Question Editor provided to add or delete questions.

Kya Kya Lagta Hai (Optional) option present which can help you in getting the correct answer. You can use this option max three times for a particular question. Moreover the hint provided by this may become misleading as your question level increases.

The game looks almost the same in all supported screen resolution, i.e., 800x600, 1024x764 and 1280x1024 (these have been tested).

If the question database gets corrupted, you can use the Restore Default option to restore it.

Known Problems

1.       Problem may occur if you don't have VB runtimes installed.
Problem may occur if "Fast Startup" is selected from the Options and no question is present for a level. Setting this option is risky, as it doesn't check the number of questions present for each level. This may result in error message while playing if number of questions for any level is 0.

Converts Picture to Text ( this text can be viewed using Notepad or any other text editor).

It has 2 saving mode

1. Save1 - The output file is of size 100 kb (View the file at font size 1 or 3)

2. Save 2 - The output file is of size 10 kb (View the file at font size 7 or 8)

It has 4 saving mode:

Very Low - Amount of Text written is very low.

Low - Amount of Text written is low.

Medium - Amount of Text written is Medium.

High - Amount of Text written is High.

This software solves Spellathon using its own dictonary

You have to provide :

1. Essential.

2. Others.

3. Minimum Length (eg 4)

Then click on Solve to Solve the spellathon.

Using this software you can scrap to your friends with Sparkling fonts - gif images (30 Fonts provided).

The software only supports alphabets (Does not support 0-9 or special characters).
